The Mauthausen Memorial has been accepted onto the list of institutions able to accept tax-deductible donations. This means that any donation you make to us can be offset against your tax bill. The sum donated will be included automatically by the Tax Office on your employees’ tax assessment (ArbeitnehmerInnenveranlagung) or income tax declaration (Einkommensteuererklärung). It is therefore vital that your name and date of birth are given correctly and, in particular, that the spelling of your name corresponds to that on your certificate of registration (Meldezettel). For donations made using a payment slip or payment order, please enter your name and date of birth in the field marked Verwendungszweck.
You also still have the option to remain anonymous and not make your donation tax-deductible.
